The drive runs from the street, past the building, back to the garages. It had been patched enough times that the patches had become the problem — cracking across the full width, uneven settlement, edges crumbling away into the lawn.
A seal coat would have hidden that for a season. Resurfacing fixes it.
We prepped the existing surface, squared up the edges against the lawns and retaining walls, and laid new asphalt the full run from the street to the garage bays. Then compacted and rolled it to an even grade, so water runs off the drive instead of sitting on it — standing water is what caused the cracking in the first place, and it will do it again to a surface that is not graded for it.
One clean black surface, edge to edge.
